Due to ongoing drought conditions experienced in southern Ontario this summer, the risk of fire in the Ganaraska Forest is extremely high. Forest users are asked to use extra caution with their activities while in the forest and are reminded that open fires are prohibited and that all off-road vehicles are required to have spark arrestors. Any signs of fire in the forest should be reported immediately by calling 911.

Please keep in mind that all users must obtain a membership or day pass to use the Ganaraska Forest. The canteen at the Ganaraska Forest Centre is open on weekends. Stop in and say hi to Chef Ross!

Please note that there are special events taking place throughout the forest most weekends; let's respect each other and have a great season. Happy trails!

Call the Ganaraska Forest Centre @ 905.797.2721 or the Ganaraska Region Conservation Authority @ 905.885.8173 for further information.
